Extras
Each vacation home is self-catering. We will supply you with some basics such as a roll of kitchen paper, 1 roll of toilet paper and bar of soap per bathroom, 2 dishwasher tabs and 2 bin bags. All other supplies can be purchased at the nearest convenient store.
Travelling with a baby? Good News. All our homes will contain a high chair and pack n play travel cot for your use free of charge during your stay. Please note that these are travel cots and do not include bedding.
Below is a list of Optional Extras, don’t worry about making your mind up about any of these options now as they can be added to your booking at any time prior to your arrival date.
Pool Heating
Pool heating is recommended between October and April. The price will vary depending upon the type of heater installed at the home. A gas pool heater will cost $30per day and an electric heated pool will cost $20 per day.
Some things to remember about pool heating. The pool heaters will not heat the pool to ‘bath’ temperature. The heater will be in operation for 12 hours each day at the same time as the pool pump is running, they do not operate 24 hours per day. For this reason the pool will feel a little cooler first thing in the morning and will take some time to reach its maximum heat. When you arrive at your home the pool heater will already have been switched on for your arrival but the pool may take 24/48 hours to reach optimum temperature.
Barbecue Hire
None of our homes have BBQ’s. These can be hired at a cost of $60 plus tax per week. This will be a gas BBQ and will be placed outside of the pool enclosure. In addition you may also wish to hire BBQ Utensils which are an additional $10.
Welcome Packs
If you are arriving late at night you may wish to consider a Welcome pack. These can be purchased direct from The Vacation Grocer and can be tailored to your individual needs. The items will be ready in the home for your arrival.
An example of a Basic Overnight Pack which is just $25 and will include:
- Half Gallon 1% Milk
- Half Gallon Orange Juice
- 1lb White Bread
- 1lb Spread
- 12oz Box of Corn Flakes
- 100 pack Tea Bags
- 2oz Jar Instant Coffee
- 1lb Sugar
- 8oz Jar Strawberry Jam
